The Transfiguration
The kid hasn't slept yet,
He is screaming- At this intoxicated darkness.
Being cut off
in the family feud.
One day,
he too will have to cut them off.
Here,
disrupted by father's aged cough
I am awake,
The kid and my plight is the same.
Carrying the spanking dreams,
Today, I am troubled.
Trying to be watchful - I wander,
Trying to gather myself together- I trickle,
Within the creases of my soul.
The poetry ripens,
When life goes astray.
The heart rambles,
In lack of the sanctuary.
Dear silence!
Allow me to rest on your lap.
So that, tomorrow
I may be able to wake up
With more strength.
He is screaming- At this intoxicated darkness.
Being cut off
in the family feud.
One day,
he too will have to cut them off.
Here,
disrupted by father's aged cough
I am awake,
The kid and my plight is the same.
Carrying the spanking dreams,
Today, I am troubled.
Trying to be watchful - I wander,
Trying to gather myself together- I trickle,
Within the creases of my soul.
The poetry ripens,
When life goes astray.
The heart rambles,
In lack of the sanctuary.
Dear silence!
Allow me to rest on your lap.
So that, tomorrow
I may be able to wake up
With more strength.
